Start the self paced QIAT Course
If your district is committed to helping students, families, educators (e.g., teachers, therapists, principals, superintendents), and communities work together to meet the educational needs of each student, the QIAT Indicators can support your efforts. They offer guidance in utilizing Assistive Technology to make sure that students with disabilities can participate in and benefit from an innovative learning ecosystem that includes an emphasis on personalized learning and family voice.
The QIAT team of Assistive Technology educators recognized that some students require Assistive Technology devices and services to participate fully to succeed in school, and School districts need support. The QIAT leadership team published this handbook to help: Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology: A Comprehensive Guide to Assistive Technology Services (CAST Professional Publishing, 2015)
In this course, based on the QIAT guide, you will learn about the Quality Indicators for Assistive Technology (QIAT – pronounced “quiet”) directly from the QIAT Leadership team and have the resources need to further develop your NH district’s AT services.
